Week 10, Final Week!

Hey guys,

It's finally here, the last one! For my final week, I will be previewing the playoff picture, entering week 14 of the season, with all of the division leaders and wild card spots right now during this point of the season. First off, there are two conferences and four divisions in each one. If you have the best record in your division, you automatically make the playoffs. After that, the next two best records in each conference round out the six total. So, the NFC, National Football Conference. The leaders of the NFL and the NFC West are the 11-1 Dallas Cowboys. The leaders of the NFC South are the Detriot Lions at 8-4. Leaders of the NFC North are the 8-3-1 Seattle Seahawks. NFC East, 7-5 Atlanta Falcons. To wrap up the wild card spots are the 8-4 New York Giants and the 7-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Right behind these teams are the 6-5 Washington Redskins, 6-6 Green Bay Packers, 6-6 Minnesota Vikings, and the 5-6-1 Arizona Cardinals. That wraps up the NFC. Now the AFC, American Football Conference. Tied for the second-best record in the entire league are the 10-2 Oakland Raiders, leaders of the AFC West. The leaders of the AFC South are the 6-6 Houston Texans. Leaders of the AFC North are the 7-5 Baltimore Ravens. And the New England Patriots are leading the AFC East at 10-2. The wild card spots are taken by the 9-3 Kansas CitChiefsfs and the   8-4 Denver Broncos right now. The teams that are in the hunt are the 7-5 Miami Dolphins, the Pittsburg Steelers at 7-5 also, the 6-6 Tennessee Titans and our very own 6-6 Indianapolis Colts. With only four games left to play on the year, every game counts if they want to get into the playoff.

Week 9

Hello everyone,

This week's list compiles three quarterbacks who seemed to dominate their opponents. The top performer was someone who isn't afraid of the spotlight, Drew Brees, quarterback of the New Orleans Saints. He was 28/36, for 310 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He also ran one in for a touchdown from the one-yard line. He led his team to a blowout win in their home stadium. For the first time this year, an emerging star, at number two, Colin Kaepernick, quarterback of the San Fransisco 49ers. He threw for 29/46, 293 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He also ran 10 times for 113 yards. This was by far his best game of the year. He destroyed the defense in every part of the game. To end our list, Kirk Cousins, quarterback of the Washington Redskins. He threw 41/53, 449 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Even with this brilliant effort, his team lost a close one to the best team in the entire league. My top personal performer was Mark Ingram, the running back for the New Orleans Saints. He has been very inconsistent all year but he blew up this week. He had 14 rushes for 146 yards and 1 touchdown. He also caught a 21-yard touchdown pass.

This will be the final top three list of the year as I will be previewing the playoff picture next week. For my pictures this week, I will show you the many different appearances of Colin Kaepernick.

Week 8

Hey guys,

This was a great week of fantasy. We had an unfamiliar face come in at our number one spot this week! It was Robert Kelley, running back for the Washington Redskins. He had 24 rushes for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns. This was a breakout game for Kelley as he has been a backup for most of the year. The number two performer was someone who is used to the top performer's list, Aaron Rodgers, quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. He threw for 26/41, 351 yards and 3 touchdowns. Even though his team got beat pretty bad, this was a great game for Rodgers who has been playing his best season in his short career. To end the top three, the Indianapolis foe, quarterback for the New England Patriots. He threw for 24/40, 280 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He has led his team  to an 8-2 record thus far. My personal team's top performer was Le'Veon Bell, running back of the Pittsburg Steelers. He seemed to do everything against their easy opponent. He rushed the ball 28 times for 146 yards and 1 touchdown. He also caught 8 passes for 55 yards.

Week 7

Hey, guys!

Once again... topping off the leader boards once again, Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys. He has emerged into the conversation for MVP from all of these great performances and he is doing this all as a rookie! He finished the day with, 21 rushes, 2 catches, 209 total yards, and 3 total touchdowns. He scored the game-winning touchdown with only nine seconds left on the clock. Not only is he in the running for Rookie of the Year, but also the Most Valuable Player. Number two is Ben Rothlisberger of the Pittsburg Steelers. He had his best game of the year after coming if a knee injury. He had 37/46, 408 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He had this great performance but his team let a win slip away from the by just five points. To round off the list, Ryan Mathews of the Philadelphia Eagles. He has been very inconsistent all year but finished with 19 rushes, 2 catches, 139 total yards, and 2 touchdowns on the day. He had the best game of his season and led his team to a victory over the impressive Falcons. My fantasy teams did very well this week, for the first time all year, I went 4-0 and my leagues. My top performer was Ezekiel Eliott who was clearly the highest performer of the whole league.

I'm going to do something a little different this week and put pictures of all three top performers in action. In order... Ezekiel Eliott, Ben Rothlisberger, and Ryan Mathews.

Week 6

Hello everyone,

Fantasy football never disappoints. In this week's top three, we have one guy who is very familiar up here and two new guys. Unlike last week, this week's top three consists of all running backs! The top performer for the second week this year, Melvin Gordon of the San Diego Chargers. He had the best game of his career with 32 rushes, 4 catches, 269 total yards, and one touchdown. He led his team to a shootout win over the Titans. Gordon did not score a single touchdown all of last year, but in his second season, he keeps scoring and keeps on impressing. The number two performer is Latavius Murray of the Oakland Raiders. This is his first time on the list as he has had a rough season. He ended with 20 rushes, 1 catch, 127 total yards, and 3 scores. He led his team to a primetime victory over the Broncos. To round up the list, Mark Ingram of the New Orleans Saints. After being benched last week, he came out and PROVED himself. He finished with 15 rushes, 2 catches, 171 total yards, and 2 total touchdowns. This was a game where he needed to perform in order to keep his job and he showed out. I had a great week in fantasy and my top performer was Mark Ingram as he helped me get a win.

Week 5

Hey Guys,

Another crazy week in the fantasy category and another different top three! This is the first time the top three has consisted of all quarterbacks and actually, the top five are all qbs. The number one performance of the week was Derek Carr of the Okland Raiders. He had a crazy day, slinging the ball in evry direction. He ended the game at 40/59, 513 yards, and 4 touchdowns. This was by far his best game of his career while helping his team defeat Tampa Bay. The second best performance of the week was Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. He also had his best game of the season, ending the day with 28/38, 246 yards, and 4 touchdowns, while adding 60 yards on the ground. He has been struggling all year long so we'll see if this is his breakout game to get going. To round out the top three, Indy's most hated, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. He had 22/33, 315 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He led his team to a hot start to the season as they get another win. My personal top performer was Amari Cooper, also from the Okland Raiders. He had a career day with 12 catches, 173 yards, and a touchdown. This performanced was obviously helped by the day his quarterback had.

Week 4

Hey Guys,

Sorry, I'm a little late on this week's blog but here it is! Wow, what a week. Yet another week with another DIFFERENT trio of players. It just seems like it keeps happening every week. Topping the list of all fantasy players for the first time in his short career, was Melvin Gordon. He ended the game with 22 rushes, 68 yards, 2 touchdowns, 6 receptions, 53 yards, and a touchdown. This was by far his best week of his two-year career. He has been a touchdown machine all year, finding the end zone a total of ten times so far this season. Coming in at number two was our very own Andrew Luck. He had a monster game, making it his second-best of the year. He wae 27/39, 353 yards, and 3 touchdowns. This performance helped the colts and the city get a big divisional win over the Tennessee Titans, 34-26. At number three, marking his second top 5 performance week in a row, Jay Ajayi. He had a whopping 28 carries for 214 yards and one touchdown. This was the second week in a row he topped 200 yards; making him only the fourth running back to ever do so. I did very well with my personal teams. I ended the week with a 3-1 record which is no too bad. My top scorer was Jay Ajayi, which was a solid start for me considering he was the number three scorer for the week.
